Happy Monday! How are you ladies doing? It was a busy weekend so I’m going to jump right into this bit of photo overload.
On Friday night, I hit the gym and snapped this post-workout selfie, before heading home to see Marco. After a little convincing through text and voice messaging, he agreed to go for Indian, so I picked him up and off we went…
Saturday morning workout, and then we hit the road and headed up to Mont. Tremblant for the evening, with plans to ski on Sunday.
We arrived in the late afternoon, and checked into the Fairmont hotel. We had a great room with a mountain view, and the pool and hot tubs were popping’ …but Marco conveniently forgot his suit! We cracked open a bottle of wine, relaxed and chatted for a little while.
This was our first time staying at the Fairmont, and it was quite nice, the room was very comfortable and the amenities were nice. That said, we’ve stayed at the Westin before, and both agreed we loved it more; the rooms were more modern, spacious and the pool area was even nicer.
We don’t usually stay at the fancier hotels when we go to Tremblant, but this was all that was available when we booked.
After some down time, we got bundled and headed out to dinner around 9pm. We hit up the Pizzateria, which is an Italian place in the village. I hadn’t been before and inhaled my meal–it was really good pizza.
We had full plans to ski the next day until we realized Marco had forgotten his ski jacket! Honestly, it was brutally cold, and always seems to be the case when we go (despite the fact that it was above zero all week–ugh!). I wasn’t torn up about not skiing, ha, like I said on Friday, I am so over winter. So, we called it a bust, slept in and slowly got ready to head back to town in the late morning.
I spent the afternoon doing some work for some upcoming posts, and watching some YouTube videos. Later on we hit the gym and then grabbed Chinese food for dinner.
Hope you girls had a great weekend, I’m off to watch Billions & The Walking Dead. Come back tomorrow for my February Favourites (see January Favourites here) & see you then!
