MOTO JACKET WITH GIRLFRIEND JEANS

Happy Friday girls!  I’m so so so excited for the weekend and to be sharing today’s post with you because I’m writing from the new backend of the blog!  I’ve finally made the switch over to WordPress, and am slowing learning my way around, and making some updates as well.  You’ll notice the drop-down menus at the top have changed and I’m working on the best ways to make the site super easy to navigate to find everything you’re looking for.  You can now SHOP THE POST without clicking into the post with the photo icons if you’re pressed for time (use the little arrow to scroll to see all the items), plus the social icons and menus at stationary at the top when you scroll (love that!).  Additionally, you will see the YOU MAY ALSO ENJOY post options at the bottom of each post, with their main photo and title to give you more great content to check out while you’re here, if you’d like.

I’m still working on tagging and categorizing all my posts accordingly, and some of my old Blogger widgets aren’t synching so I might have to manually re-create them, all in due time.  Ultimately, switching to WordPress won’t make a huge difference for you, except to make the site easier to use, easier to find specific posts, plus an overall better look.  Yay!

Lastly, I’ll be doing a bigger overhaul later this year, one thing at a time, plus a bit of a learning curve for myself too!  So thanks for sticking by and all your sweet comments thus far on the new design, I’m super pleased and excited to bring you an event better place for us to connect and chat about fashion and more!

O U T F I T  D E T A I L S  :  FAUX LEATHER JACKET  |  CAMI (SIMILAR, SIMILAR)  |  CHOKER NECKLACE  |  GIRLFRIEND JEANS  |  BOOTIES  |  BAG  |  GUCCI SUNGLASSES — OLD (SIMILAR)

As for the outfit, eep!  I totally forgot about these photos and there is snow on the ground!  I promise we are getting into warmer weather, but this outfit still works for this time of year, when we are transitioning into sunnier skies.  This faux leather jacket has been a go to for me on the weekends lately, I find it has a good weight, but it’s not overly bulky, which I like for when I’m looking for that edgy look without overheating.

As for the denim, these jeans are more of a girlfriend style but I sized down so they’d be a snugger fit.  Either way, they are a great denim, go with the size that feels best.  If you go with the looser fit, a slimmer fitting top will balance out the proportions.
