Alright girls, I know I asked on Instastories last night if you were sick of seeing Nordstrom Anniversary Sale posts, and many of you said, YES.  And again, I get it, it’s everywhere right now, but then again, it’s like the Super Bowl of sales, so I get that everyone is so excited.

Anyway, all that to say,  I did share a Friday Finds post earlier today, but then I saw that this sweater had been restocked in just a few sizes (it was sold out for almost a week!) so wanted to share.

This outfit combo is something I would wear on the weekends out with girlfriends for dinner or if I wanted to feel a little more pulled together while running errands.  While I usually default to flats on weekends when running around the city, a block-heel bootie are amazing for comfort and spending hours on your feet.

This soft cardigan is really cozy, but it’s not overly thick that it adds bulk.  Oddly enough I find it runs really big so I sized way down–which is so rare–to an extra small.  I’m usually a medium and the small was a good fit, but I wanted it to be snug in the shoulders and arms so that’s why I went with the xs.

This does come in petite sizing too, so don’t rule this sweater out if you’re smaller than me, I think it will be such a great transitional piece for the fall (it also comes in charcoal grey).

The jeans are from the #NSALE but they sold out–ugh, everything went so fast thus far–but I found them on sale here.  They are still a pricey investment, but any designer denim I own was bought on sale, so something to keep in mind.  I find AG runs a little big, and this is my second pair that I went down one size (again, file this under #thingsthatneverhappen).

UPDATE:  The jeans are back in stock in size 30!

Well, I think that’s it for now, I’m off to relax for the evening and apply a thick coat of self tan before donning a swimsuit tomorrow for that river float thing we are doing.  Wish me luck!
