HOW TO LOOK FESTIVE FOR THE OFFICE

As a lot of you know, I work full time in an office environment, but to be honest, office dressing isn’t exactly my favourite.  That said, during the holidays, even if you’re in a more conservative office, there is always a way to inject a little holiday spirit, if you will.

Bell sleeves are a huge trend, we’ve talked about it so much here over the past year even, so when I spotted this dress, even though it’s a little outside what I usually share on the blog, I knew it would definitely be a piece that would get a ton of use for my day job.

When it comes to the holidays and getting festive at work, I do tend to push the envelope a little myself, and have even worn my sequin top with some black skinny pants and pumps.  However, my office is business casual which tends to be a little more flexibile.

If you’re in an environment that is more strict with the dress code, a great way to inject a little holiday style is with your shoes.  A closed-toe sparkly pump paired with something more conservative, like this tweed dress, is the perfect example of spreading a little holiday cheer without going overboard.  Of course adding an opaque pair of tights will dress it up even more if needed.

What are you girls up to this weekend?  Tonight is my girls’ annual Christmas party and I’m stoked!  I’m preparing a pulled pork in the crock pot today + have my sparkly-glitter themed outfit picked out (these shoes are part of it!).  Come hang out with us girls on Instastories tonight to see my outfit & the night unfold 😉

Hope you have an excellent weekend!! TGIF! xo
