One of my favourite sayings, which comes from my Dad, is, ‘You can’t be perfect all your life’. It’s kind of a kitschy way to respond when someone has screwed up to put a smile back on their face and it’s always made me feel less embarrassed when I screw up.
Speaking of screw ups–this “episode” of Vlogmas was a bit of a bust! I explain more in the video, but essentially the intro was recorded with muffled sound and the clips thereafter wouldn’t have made much sense, so I slapped on some lipstick last night and filmed this talk through. Ultimately, I didn’t want to scrap the entire day, I did get some good clips–mostly B roll footage–so this is just a slightly different version of today’s Vlogmas + a look at us putting together our new Christmas tree.
