Spring has definitely sprung around these parts and you can feel it in the air. Everyone seems to have a little more pep in their step and I can definitely feel it breathing life into me.
We are in full wedding planning mode, which means total budget planning mode as well so I have to be extra diligent with my shopping! However, there are some staple trends I’m dying to get my hands on and have been hunting down some budget friendly options so we can all take part. I’m especially loving the paper-bag waist trend & just snagged these fun culottes and I’ll be sharing an outfit post soon.

Lastly I wanted to quickly touch on the shoe situation: I’m on a major hunt for a pair of espadrilles wedges. I went to Nordstrom and tried on these ones, which are a huge Blogger fave this year. They are possibly the most comfortable wedges I’ve ever worn/tried, but I didn’t love the way they looked on my foot slash where the strap hit me on my ankle. Oddly, I love them on everyone else, so that was a bit of a bummer. I even straight up told the sales associate I wanted to buy them simply because they were so damn comfortable! Anyway, I found these adorable slides–best of both worlds! So on trend + still a wedge espadrilles–can’t wait for them to arrive in the mail.
