Hey girls, hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Things were busy around these parts but also super productive.
On Friday night, we had a dinner reservation for our six year anniversary! I got home and we were both tired, so in the end, we decided to cancel the reso, order pasta and chat and watch tv. It ended up being great to just relax in our comfies and chill.
On Saturday morning, I grabbed one of my besties/bridesmaid and we headed out to an annual Parkinson walk. We walk for a friend of mine, who was there, and you can see last year’s walk here.

Afterwards, I hit the gym then went home to chill before evening plans.
It was my girlfriend’s birthday so a bunch of us went out to celebrate. Pasta again!

I always reach for pants when I’m going out but wanted to take advantage of what last bare-leg-weather we have and just wear something feminine and dressed up. I have had this dress in my closet for many years and it’s served me well for work (it’s super ruched so you can make it longer or shorter), casual outfits and nights out. It’s a simple, versatile piece that works well in any closet–I’d really like to get something similar in grey!
The trench is something I’ve had for a few years and haven’t worn a ton but am really getting into duster styles this year (moreso than before) so I’m thinking I’ll be wearing this a lot more. I love this similar one.

On Sunday we spent the day cleaning the house and getting things done. It was super productive (finally!) and going to bed last night was so good knowing everything was neat and clean! It never seems to last very long, but many a clean house makes me happy! 😛
We had our friends over for dinner, Marco did his short rib with frites and I managed to convince him to make sweet potato ones for me. We chatted and laughed and discussed the wedding till nighttime.
