STRIPED KNIT DRESS FOR FALL

I’m not going to lie, I’m just about ready for fall. We’ve been experiencing cooler than usual temps all weekend and I’m excited to bust out some of the new items I’ve snagged. Plus, fall is always so short for us, here in Ottawa, I’m down for it last a little longer!

I bought this knit dress a few months ago, actually, but it’s my first time finally wearing it! I knew I’d get a ton of use out of it come fall, and here we are. It’s not maternity, and I went with my usual size (medium), and it fits great over the bump.

O U T F I T D E T A I L S : STRIPED DRESSNOT MATERNITY, WEARING MY USUAL SIZE | SNEAKERS (BUDGET FRIENDLY) | SUNGLASSES

How was your weekend?! I took like, two pictures, so not much in the way of a Weekend Recap but we did have a few fun things go down.

Friday and Saturday were kind of a write off for me–I spent a lot of time in bed, resting. Some days I’m good and other days I’m not, this pregnancy truly has been a day–by-day experiment and on the bad days, I just have to lay low and recharge my batteries.

Sunday, though, I got up and went for a walk around our neighbourhood with my coffee. I’m trying to walk (almost) daily, if I can, when I’m feeling up to it. That afternoon I had enough energy to pop by the mall (looking for maternity pants; no luck there but did share what I purchased online yesterday, including pants!) which was nice. Then that evening, our friends invited us over for an impromptu nacho and cocktail cook-off. Three couples, five different types of nachos and four cocktails over the course of the evening with Pictionary in between–so fun! And nice to get out of the house and socialize to break up the amount of laying around I do 😉

Hope you girls had a great weekend! xo
