Waxed pants have become a closet staple of mine over the past few years.  They add a bit of edge to a basic black pant and dress them up a little more.  Despite it being Summertime, I still rock mine–in various colours–but lighten the look up with more weather-appropriate tops and shoes.

Silk, cotton and linen are all great ways to Summer-ize your coated denim and adding a lace-up shoe like these or a similar wedge version is the perfect finishing touch.
