JOE FRESH SILK TOP (SIMILAR)  |  ZARA COATED PANTS (SIMILAR)  |  LACE UP FLATS  |  H&M FRINGE BAG (SIMILAR)  |  CONSIGNED NECKLACE (SIMILAR)

I wore this outfit a few weeks ago when it was still warm, and although it looks pretty washed out, the pants are actually grey.  I love how the black flats anchor the look but threw on a black pendant to balance it out a little.

TANK (TIED IN A KNOT AT BACK)  |  SKIRT

I’m definitely more of a pants girl, but this skirt was really pretty on (and office-appropriate in length and style).  I ended up leaving it (and taking home these flares instead) but I did scoop up the tank, which is a cropped style.

PEEP-TOE BOOTIES

I had my eye on these as soon as they were listed on the website.  I went into the store and of course they didn’t have my size #bigfeetproblems so I ordered them and it was an immediate yes when I opened the box.

Peep-toe boots are stylish and great for Fall.  Additionally, the tassels add a little something extra, they are super comfortable and easy to walk in.

URBAN PLANET CROCHET TOP (LOVE THIS ONE)  |  CAMI  |  WILLIAM RAST DENIM  |  TASSEL NECKLACE

Sometimes I know it can be tricky to get your groove with a new trend; flares aren’t new but after living in skinnies for so long, it can take a minute to figure out what looks best with this silhouette.  I love pairing with a flowy top–although there is volume on the top and bottom, it offers up a pretty 70’s style vibe which is right on trend.

ZARA PANTS (SIMILAR)  |  426 BY LORD & TAYLOR TOP (SIMILAR)  |  ZARA HEELS (SIMILAR, SIMILAR)  |  BAG

This is way more colour than I normally wear but it was the end of Summer and I decided to just go for it.  I love the mix of a thick stripe and a bold flower–mixing patterns can feel powerful!  Just keep the colour scheme the same (blue, in this case) and stick to neutral accessories so as to not overpower the look.

ARDENE TOP (SIMILAR)  |  SEA REINAS BIKINI BOTTOM  |  ALDO SUNNIES  |  DOLLARAMA HAT (SIMILAR)

When I was in Barbados last year, I met the owner of Sea Reinas and purchased a couple of her cheeky bikini bottoms (seen on me here).  The fabric is beautiful and the pieces are really well made.  The top is from Ardene from last year; I usually luck out there with their suits, they tend to just fit right.  Further proof you don’t have to spend a ton to look great.

WINNERS PEPLUM TOP (SIMILAR)  |  F21 MINERAL WASH SKIRT (SIMILAR)  |  ALEXANDER WANG WEDGES (SIMILAR, SIMILAR)  |  BAG

Sometimes I find pencil skirts to be a little too snug / shows every lump & bump.  I love the look of a peplum top for my girls who hold their weight in the mid-section; it camouflages, nips in and looks very feminine.

MUSCLE TANK  |  PARASUCO SKINNIES (SIMILAR)  |  WEDGES (SPLURGE, SAVE)  |  BAG

This outfit feels very me; skinnies, wedges, a muscle tee & an easy fringe bag.  Part edgy, part laid back–the perfect look for a night out with the girls or as in my case, shopping (these wedges are super comfy, I promise).  I actually had been wearing this outfit with sneakers earlier in the day.

PONCHO  |  TEE  |  DISTRESSED FLARES  |  BAG  |  HAT  | ESPADRILLES

Ponchos are huge for Fall–you  have to scoop one up!  They are everywhere, so choose one that fits your personality.  I love this one–it’s obviously a neutral, but the pattern is fun and casual, perfect for weekends, running errands and keeping warm in general.
