Hi ladies, happy Friday! I’m sorry this isn’t the post you were probably expecting, ie. moving weekend & house pictures. They are coming, I promise. If you saw my Instastories last night, you know, and if not, I’ll reiterate a bit.
We got the keys to our new home on Friday, finalized our packing all weekend, and moved on Tuesday. I had one day off to unpack and went back to work yesterday. To say it’s been chaotic is a slight understatement and I’m totally excited and happy, but also overwhelmed with all the unpacking and organizing there is to do!
Add to it that we are hosting my family for my Mom’s birthday on Saturday night (so excited for this though) and we need to go back to our condo and grab the last of our things, take apart my walk-in closet system and do a top-to-bottom clean, phew!
I will say I’m loving having more space, have been cooking meals in our kitchen (yay!) and feel so happy that we have moved into our forever home! A lovely reader friend messaged me to just enjoy the process of unpacking our home, and I really took that to heart and am keeping it as an easy, and simple reminder. I’m definitely someone who likes a tidy space, but tend to be somewhat messy, so living amongst boxes and such kind of plays on my psyche but again, part of the process.
Anyway, enough rambling, thanks for all the sweet messages and even just following along, I see you, and you’re awesome!!

I’ve been wearing these white skinnies every chance I get, now that the weather has warmed up and the crazy rain we were having has stopped. I do find the distressing sits a tad high on me since I’m tall, but it doesn’t bother me. I love that these have a raw hem, but aren’t cropped and have a nice amount of stretch but aren’t see-through. Definitely a closet staple for summer.
I still have my Paige white skinnies (not distressed; as seen here) and I love how they are thicker with stretch, but they always slide down on me #teamnohips. I’m definitely on the hunt for a new pair, but everything I’ve found feels so thin or sheer. Let me know if you’ve found anything you personally love!
Just a heads up, the Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale is happening now (eek!) and I’ll come back and share my favourite pieces, but am loving this leather cross-body bag, this cute bell sleeve sweatshirt & how great is this marble-faced watch?
