Happy Friday eve, oh man, I’m happy it’s almost the weekend!  However, feeling so much more rested than I was yesterday–after staying up till crazy hours of the night to finish the fitting room try-on post I did, then getting up super early for work, it was good to get to bed at a reasonable hour last night to make up some zzz’s.

This is the first look I’m sharing with some new pieces from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!  I have a ton more coming for you girls so you can see how I style the pieces, how they fit and all that jazz.  These sales are crazy so take advantage now if you can.  Again, this is the sale of the year because it’s brand new fall merchandise that is up to 40% off for two weeks, and then it goes back up to full price.  A great time to get a head start on your fall wardrobe.

I’m such a pants lover and it’s definitely what I gravitate towards most when getting dressed or planning my outfits.  These new skinnies from Frame are so good (not to mention, like $100 off!)–the fabric is thick and stretchy, and they suck you in, essentially, they feel really good on.  I love the step hem, and I think it would be even more flattering on anyone shorter than me because it would hit a little lower (love that!).

I grabbed this blouse and even my Photographer was swooning over it as we were shooting this look–it’s so pretty, an easy piece to throw on and go, comes in a variety of colours and a floral print as well.  I love the statement top trend that’s in full swing right now, it makes it so easy to dress up a basic pair of skinny jeans, pants or plain pencil skirt.  Bell sleeves are still going strong and will be a huge trend again this fall so if you haven’t already, jump in.

POLKA DOT BLOUSE | Runs true to size (tts) or a tad small.  Since it’s from the more Junior line, I went with a large, and I’m usual a medium to large.

BLACK SKINNY DENIM | Fits tts, I went with my normal size (30).
