Hellooooo new week! I’m feeling refreshed and happy after a week away from (my 9 – 5) work and that additional day to relax after a long day of travelling on Saturday. That said, I totally have post-vacation blues and can’t help but feel bummed today marks the return of real life normalcy. Take me back to the beach!
All that said, I don’t have a ton in the way of photos from the weekend simply because we got home Saturday night, ordered Thai food and vegged. However, I snapped a few happenings on Sunday so let’s jump in!
One of the best things about coming home: sleeping in your own bed!
While our resort was uber nice, it took until our second last day for our room to feel cold–that thermometer just didn’t want to budge! Since it’s so humid in Mexico, the sheets always feel a little moist, so crisp clean sheets were nice to climb into.
I spent all day tackling all the laundry–I unpacked our suitcases, vacuumed out the sand (lol), did all the laundry, vacuumed some of the house and started working on the massive photo diary I will be sharing this week from our trip. I filmed a video which I’ll have up for you girls this week on self tanners (subscribe to my YouTube channel here, if you’d like), and also shared the Weekend Shopping Deals on the blog yesterday with some fun picks for now and spring.

While I was busy doing laundry and stuff around the house, Marco hit the gym (I wasn’t feeling it) and brought home some Tim’s for us and whipped up a scrambled-mash-egg bowl–so good! He’s never made that before but it was awesome.
The rest of the day was spent on stuff around the house and whatnot–really unexciting!
Tomorrow I’ll be sharing my final vacation look from our trip and then on Wednesday I’ll have our trip photos up. Hope you girls have a great Monday xo
