Is it fall in your neck of the woods?  We are fluctuating back and forth between super chilly days where I’m bundling myself in a jacket and multiple scarves to bare legs and no coat needed.  I love the chilly fall weather but I’m not mad about a few warmer days being thrown in the mix!

How’s your girls’ week going?  Things are moving along here.  There were six tornados in the Ottawa area on Friday and we were fortunate to only lose power for the weekend, unlike some others whose homes have been ruined.  That said, I spent last night emptying out our fridge and freezer since the food was spoiled (over 50 hours without power) and giving them a good deep cleaning.  Cleaning always puts me in a terrible mood–haha–but the aftermath is always very happy.  I also made this one-pot cheesy taco chili which is a go-to in the fall.  I feel like I get a new cooking wind come this time of year and don’t totally dread being in the kitchen.

These jeans are my most worn-work-appropriate jeans and I just noticed they are on sale!  I always purchase my designer denim on sale–and while I think they are totally worth the price, it’s still pricey so a little savings can go a long way.

Speaking of sales, Shopbop is having their HUGE fall sale; almost everything is up to 25% off (which is a big savings, esp when it comes to denim, shoes, outterwear, etc.).  These jeans are almost identical to mine above, just slightly darker and a higher rise (love!) and part of the sale.  If you’re a Golden Goose fan, these ones caught my eye a couple months ago and are on sale!  Perhaps I’ll just do a big round up of the sale & some fave items to make it easier, the sale is only on for four days!
