SHOPBOP FALL SALE PICKS

1 person, half body of girl wearing doc marten boots

Shopbop just sprung their best sale ever and it’s happening for the next three days.  Depending on how much you spend, you get 25% off orders over $500 and 20% off orders under $500; use code STOCKUP18.  This is a great time to snag those designer jeans or a new winter coat you’re eyeing because you will not see prices better than this!  If you’re on the fence as to how much to spend, grab a girlfriend or two and place an order together to get the higher discount if you’re all looking to purchase something.

I wear my Doc Martens all the time in the fall and all the pairs are on sale here.  My jeans are part of the sale, along with almost identical fingerless gloves, something I wear in the fall and winter, and when it gets colder I throw them over my leather gloves for added warmth & style.

As mentioned, I’m sharing my faves from the sale and breaking them into some quick and easy categories below…

EVERYDAY ESSENTIALS

DESIGNER DENIM

Denim is the one thing I tend to splurge on because after finally caving and purchasing my first pair a few years back, they really do stand the test of time, fit the best, are the most flattering and feel so fantastic.  Not all designer denim is created equal, but my favourite pairs are Rag & Bone, Citizens of Humanity (size up), Paige & AG (size down).

OFFICE READY

When shopping for pieces to wear to the office, I always try to choose items that are versatile and will fit my everyday life as well, that are slightly elevated.  This means good quality basics like pencil skirts with a cool detail or excellent fabric, nice sweaters that will pair well with denim on weekends too, and flats or a boot that I can wear in my everyday as well.

SPLURGE

And while I hate to admit it, winter is technically just around the corner so if you need a new coat, now is a great time to invest in something.  I purchased my Mackage parka above over three years ago and it still looks brand new, is super warm and looks great too.  I’ve worn it in -40C weather and with the hood on and fur attached, was warm!  Of course my legs were another story, but my upper body was so set.  If you have brutal winters like us, a good coat is imperative and I love love love the styling details of Mackage and their fit (true to size; I wear a medium).
