WHITE PANTS AFTER LABOUR DAY

The no-white rule after Labour Day is old news and doesn’t need to be abided by.  Why retire a perfectly good pair of pants for 6 months of the year when you can enjoy them year ‘round? 😉

I love pairing mine with a suede jacket in preparation for fall weather, throw on a scarf and booties as the temperatures drop for true #fallstyle.

First let’s talk about the jacket, because it’s something that’s been in my closet for over two years and I’m always reaching for it.  Blank NYC keeps updating this jacket each year, but the original one I’m wearing is still made and coming out in new colours each season–people really seem to love the style, myself included (I own it in two colours!).

The fit is true to size (tts) and I’m wearing a medium.  The suede is thick and good quality, but not overly so that you can’t move around or push up the sleeves if you wanted to.  The belt is something I love the most about the jacket, but I know reviews can be torn on it.  Personally, I just like to loop the end back through the belt loop to keep it more secure, as you can see in the photo above, which works great and looks good too when you’re wearing it open.  You can see me wearing the tan jacket here.

How is your week going?  Last night we went tux shopping for Marco and were successful!  I will share more in the wedding update later this week, but I’m so excited that it’s another check mark on the seemingly never-ending wedding to-do list!  Next up is the groomsmen (we might be slightly behind schedule here, but it’s okay 😉 ) and my Dad, but we are moving along.

Hope you girls have a great day!
