We did it! We’re married!
On Sunday we said I do and are currently honeymooning in the Bahamas. When our Photographer sent me a couple sneak peeks, I knew I wanted to share it here immediately.
The wedding was truly the best day ever and I keep teetering between feelings of super happiness (the high is crazy!) and sadness because it’s over. I want to re-live that day over and over again, it was pure magic! We have been having so much fun just reminiscing and discussing things people said to us, moments that happened, the food, the band, things that touched us and more.
The day ran smoothly and almost everything went off without a hitch. The one thing we weren’t expecting though was a dumping of snow! It started snowing the night before and continued in the morning–massive white snowflakes, which was gorgeous, but not exactly the fall wedding we were aiming for lol (you can see the leaves on the trees still in the background above). It turned into rain and a bit of a sloppy mess and since we were doing a first look and photos outside before the ceremony, we had to shift directions. We ended up shooting everything inside and so far, what I’ve seen, the photos look sensational–plus bonus: we didn’t have to freeze in the name of pictures!
I have so so so much to share and tell you about the day, and will do multiple blog posts on it all. I won’t leave any details out, so sit tight because once we get our photos back, it will be full steam ahead.
