Good Monday morning ladies! How was your weekend?
We had a good one, it’s still pretty cold here, but counting down the days till we head south!

On Saturday we visited our new friend’s and their baby (eep!) which was so special and then made it a date night by heading out for an impromptu dinner at Datsun.
They have such an amazing ramen there–it’s very rich so not something I’d want to eat all the time, but definitely a nice treat to switch things up.
If you haven’t been, definitely suggest it–this place is buzzing and has a super cool vibe. Their specialty is their bao (buns) and they have killer cocktails.
Sunday was pretty low key, a workout, breakfast and some furniture shopping. I did all the laundry and a bunch of cleaning in preparation for our trip.
I totally had, ‘start packing suitcase’ on my to-do list and that did not happen! Haha. I’m such a last minute packer (terrible), but I did start setting aside certain things I want to bring (aka this entire post). My goal is to not be packing the night before we leave, so we’ll see 😉

I know this recap is pretty bare bones but there isn’t a ton to write home about for this one, you know? Oh! Marco did make those egg bites you see above for me to take to work this week–so cute. He’d never made them before and I’m excited to try today.
