Hello hello! Jumping on to finally share some snaps from our weekend.
It’s been a slow start for me this week, lots going on at work and if you follow on IG, you know I’ve been really focused on my French language training as well. It’s taking a lot out of me, hence why things are a little quiet around here.
Nonetheless, let’s jump in!

If you caught my IG Stories on the weekend, I shared what I was wearing at the wedding. I scored the red dress at Winners about a month ago for $25 (!) and wore the same lace-up heels I wore with my short dress at our wedding. The dress isn’t maternity, but I sized up to a large and it’s very stretchy. I also wore these underneath, which are awesome.
On Saturday we went to our friends’ wedding, which was awesome. It was at the Lone Star Ranch here in Ottawa, which is the same company as the restaurants (if you’re local, you know).
The ceremony was outside and it was the perfect day for it, sunny and not too hot, and just gorgeous.
They did the classic fajitas for dinner, which was so fun and had the cutest cupcake bar for dessert.

On Saturday I whipped up my fave healthy pancakes–which is something I haven’t had since getting pregnant! My taste buds have totally changed and I just haven’t been eating things I used to love, but on Sunday, I was feeling them.
I had a couple errands to run that day, then it was back home to just rest, and a caprese sandwich for dinner later on.
