TRY-ON TUESDAY | REGULAR & MATERNITY

It’s Tuesday and I’m finally bringing back the Try-On Tuesday posts and so excited to share some new finds with you girls!

I know it’s been a while–pregnancy has not been easy for me and these posts take a lot of time and energy, and when you’re feeling like crap frequently, the last thing you want to do is play dress up–real talk.

Now, I know this looks a little bit different than before, there is a baby on board and there I no hiding this bump anymore whatsoever (was totally hiding it in this TOT post!), however I hope you girls will still find these posts helpful for ideas on what to wear this fall.

Let’s jump in!

GREY MATERNITY SWEATER | WHITE MATERNITY SKINNIESUNDER $12! | PUMPS | SNEAKERS

Alright, I mentioned on stories that I’m living in flats and sneakers on the weekend, but even at work I’ve spent more time in flats than ever before. I still wear heels, but am finding by about mid-day, I want to swap them out. Carrying around the extra weight is definitely something I (foolishly?) never considered before.

All that to say, this outfit is totally something I could see myself wearing on the weekend (with sneakers) and to the office (with heels). Despite the sweater being maternity, it’s just more like an oversized piece I would have purchased for my closet anyway, with a little more length which is great to hide the belly band on my pants 😉

I’m wearing a medium in the pants and a large in the top.

BLACK MIDI DRESS | SIMILAR BOOTIES

This black ribbed midi dress is not maternity and is so comfortable! The buttons are functional and there are slits on either side. The dress runs bigger, as it gives a lot with the ribbing so I would suggest sizing down.

I’m wearing a size up (large) to accommodate the bump, but totally could have taken a medium.

BLACK MATERNITY LONG SLEEVE TEE | MATERNITY DESIGNER JEANSUNDER $40! | SNEAKERS

Crazy about this long sleeve tee, to say the least. I purchased it in white first, and ended up ordering the black in my second order because it’s so good. It’s a really nice fabric, super soft and on the thinner side (but still great quality).

The scoop neck is uber flattering and can be pulled up or down depending on how much you want to show. The sleeve length and body are so long–which is amazing, especially if you’re on the taller side like me. This top is definitely legging friendly in the front and back, as you can see in the middle photo. The sides of the top are not rushed, so you can do that yourself or smooth it out–I like that feature.

The jeans are definitely in my top 3 of maternity purchases thus far–and super discounted! I mentioned these a couple times, but they are by AG–a brand I have loved and worn for years, prior to getting pregnant. These ones are more of a straight leg (which I’m loving, a fresher take on skinny jeans for this season), with some distressing at the knees and a raw hem. There is a full (nude) belly band that is extremely comfortable. A couple of my girlfriends thought these were regular jeans when I was wearing them–a win in my books.

I normally size down in AG (pre-pregnancy) to a 29 but I’m wearing a 30 in these and they are perfect. I’m wearing a size large in the top.

GREY CARDIGAN | WHITE MATERNITY LONG SLEEVE TEE | MATERNITY DESIGNER JEANS50% OFF | ASOS HEELS (SIMILAR)

This is the same long sleeve top as above–also comes in grey as well. Love this and can’t recommend it enough (currently on sale, as well).

The cardigan is a super budget friendly find, and actually comes with a matching fabric belt. I decided to snip off the side belt loops and wear it without (just a preference), but both ways look good. I had been on the hunt for a grey duster cardigan and this one fit the bill & budget!

These are the second pair of designer maternity jeans I purchased (also on sale) and I loved that they are also a straight leg, but not distressed, so I can wear them to work for casual Friday. I had never worn this brand before, so I took a chance, and really like them. I do find they stretch out a little as the day goes on, but nothing terrible.

I’m wearing a large in the top, a medium in the cardigan and went with my true size (30) for the denim, but probably could have also gone down a size too (but you never know with a brand you haven’t tried + I’m sure my body will continue to expand everywhere and I’ll be thankful I didn’t 😉 ).

WOOL COAT | WHITE MATERNITY LONG SLEEVE TEE | WHITE SKIRT (SIMILAR) | OVER THE KNEE BOOTS

This coat is stunnnnnnnnning in person. It’s not maternity and if you’re on the hunt for a structure wool coat for fall/winter, let this be the one. Comes in black, grey, camel and this oatmeal colour, fits true to size and is thick and gorgeous. I can tell it’s going to be warm.

I sized up to accommodate the bump and grow into it; wearing a 10.

NAVY MATERNITY MIDI DRESS | OVER THE KNEE BOOTS | SNEAKERS

Definitely another top 3 item, this maternity dress is SO GOOD. I wore it to work yesterday and got several compliments on it, and felt really good (and comfortable!) all day. I paired mine with nude ankle boots yesterday but it looks great with tall boots, sneakers or sandals.

The fabric is a good weight cotton, with stretch and extra fabric and rushing around the belly. The length is so great because it comes past my knees (or above if you ruche it a little more) and I love that it has a 3/4 sleeve. The buttons are functional and the scoop is not too low that you’re exposed. I believe this also comes in a baby blue but I love love love the navy.

I’m wearing a size 3 which is a perfect fit.
