Good morning! Well, it’s officially winter here in Ottawa–we’ve had multiple snow falls and it’s sticking. I was hoping it would hold out for a little longer, but no such luck so boots, parkas and beanies are now part of my wardrobe anytime I’m leaving the house.

You girls know I’m a huge fan of camo, might be my favourite print even, and so when I saw this jacket in the summer on sale (still available on sale!), I snatched it up immediately. It’s actually a 2-in-1 jacket wherein there is an extra panel (not wearing it here) that you can add at the front if you’re pregnant. I can still zip it up now, but pretty sure by next month I’ll need that panel (I sized up one to a large). I just loved the oversized look and fit of it in general, looks so casual cool, and not maternity.
The weekend was good over here, we got out of the house on Saturday and went to breakfast, which was the first time in a loooooong time. We used to go breakfast every weekend, and it’s been months! My weekends are mostly spent around the house, and lots of resting. Now in the third trimester I find my tired level is on a whole new level and once I shower, get ready, and put makeup on, I need to lie down to re-energize! It’s wild. All that to say, it was nice (but tiring) to get out. We also wandered around our fave home store, Mobilia, and snagged a new pillow for our living room. We are constantly on the hunt to replace our current sectional but nothing has fit the bill–so the search continues!
