I shared these shorts on Instagram & Facebook when I first got them because they are selling like hot cakes! When I saw them, it was love at first sight.
Although I love my neutrals, every now and again a statement piece gets me and Zara seems to always get it right with their florals; case in point, these floral flared pants from last year & these floral cigarette pants from a few years back (which I still wear). I would say a good floral print in general, like this dress outfit post, tends to catch my eye.

Since these shorts have a high waist, I paired them with a more cropped style top, but you could easily even show a sliver of skin, if that’s your jam–I would just keep your neckline and arms more covered to balance out the leggy-ness of the shorts. Another great option with these shorts would be a bodysuit or they would even be adorable as a swimsuit coverup, with some cute gladiator sandals or nude flip flops. The key to a more voluminous short like these is to balance out the proportions; if there is more flow in the bottoms, go with a more form fitting top, and vice versa.
Last night was a great evening, after posting a bunch of shoes on INstastories that I was selling, my girlfriend messaged me to see if she could come over and take a look at what was left. She ended up taking home six pairs of shoes and then went through the bag of clothes I had to take to the consignment store and she found four more items!
