Alright, I don’t know about you girls but when the weekend rolls around and I’ve been in heels all week for my 9 to 5, I’m usually reaching for my flats! I definitely love a good heel, don’t get me wrong, but when errands call or you just want to head out to do some shopping, comfort is always the winner (now) in my books.
I’ve shared several off shoulder looks on the blog over the past year, but I’m always dressing them up, however, I love the idea of pairing them with a chic gladiator sandal to dress them down, but still look pulled together. The gladiator sandals I’m wearing are from a few years ago but I’ve linked a few similar pairs down below and I also just ordered these ones on the weekend (eek, can’t wait!).
O U T F I T D E T A I L S : OFF THE SHOULDER TOP | SUNGLASSES | RAG & BONE DENIM ‘THE DRE’ (DIFFERENT WASH, BUDGET FRIENDLY) | ALDO GLADIATORS — OLD (SIMILAR, BUDGET FRIENDLY, JUST BOUGHT THESE) | BAG (BUDGET FRIENDLY) | EAR CLIMBER/EARRING
Last night I went to a Blogger dinner at a local Indian spot, and as someone who likes to kind of stay in her bubble, I ended up having a great time! Usually when I get invited to Blogger social events, I decline because as much as I’d like to be the social butterfly, the truth is, I’m a total introverted homebody.
So, when the invite came, my first instinct was to decline… but then I gave it more thought and pushed myself to say yes. I know that good things happen just beyond our comfort zones, but I’m totally one that has to push myself to do so. All that to say, I saw some girls I hadn’t seen in a while, made some new connections, had an amazing meal, tried a new restaurant and learned how to tie a sari!
Lately I’ve been feeling so depleted for energy, and I left the dinner feeling happy and energized. Being around other Bloggers sparked my excitement to continue creating content and sharing more. Sometimes you just need to push yourself to a bit of an uncomfortable area, and yet again it was proven to myself that when I do, good things happen.
Hope you girls are having a great Tuesday, more outfits are coming! xo
