GYM STYLE ON SALE

Happy Saturday!  Hope you girls are having a great morning.  I had four of my girlfriends over last night and we did a BBQ with lots of sangria so it’s safe to say earlier this morning was a little rough.  But, after some food and coffee I’m ready to enjoy the day… well, after I clean up this mess!

Today’s look is all about easy, effortless gym style.  Feeling good in what you’re wearing is half the battle for the gym–since you’re  going to be staring at yourself in the mirror for the next hour, it helps to like what you see, style-wise, ha.

I definitely feel best in something high waisted that sucks me in, and a long crop or full length pant are my faves.  I’ll be honest, I usually wear Lululemon, but I got these Zella leggings back in the winter (remember this post?) and they are a way better price-point if you’re trying to keep the cost down.

That said, I most often wear them in the fall and winter (also seen here) as regular leggings (not gym) with tunics and sweaters; I love the thickness of them and how there is no logo visible is I wear a top that covers the bum.

Secondly, this tank is my go-to for outfits on the weekends with shorts or denim, but could totally work as a workout shirt too–and did for me in a pinch when I forgot mine on vacation in Mexico.  Just goes to show, both pieces are versatile and can pull double duty when needed.

O U T F I T  D E T A I L S  :  MUSCLE TANK  |  HIGH WAIST LEGGINGS  |  SNEAKERS (DARK GREY HERE, OLIVE GREEN) — RUNS LARGE, SIZE DOWN A FULL SIZE  |  SUNGLASSES

This outfit is essentially what I always wear to the gym; high waisted leggings, crop top/top tied up in the back + sneakers.  I picked up these sneakers a couple weeks ago after they went on sale because I love my olive green ones so much.  You know I love more street style/hi-top sneakers for the gym, but these stylish cross-trainers converted me.

Okay, I’m off to clean up from last night and eventually make my way out the house and enjoy the sunshine.  Have a wonderful weekend! xo
