OLIVE GREEN ANORAK FOR NOW & LATER

TGIF!  I’m so ready for the weekend–it’s been a long week, busy at work and busy in the evenings, I’m ready for a good sleep in and a lazy morning with coffee and no time schedule–who’s with me!?

This will be my last official outfit post for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale because Sunday, August 6th is the last day to shop the sale.  It’s been a great few weeks, and I’ve loved hearing your feedback on what you’re buying, how you liked the outfits, the try on post and more.  I love hearing what you purchased, because if I didn’t buy it myself, I get a weird joy knowing you did!  It’s like sharing with you BFF what you got when you went shopping–and I love sharing in your excitement!

All that to say, if you haven’t made any purchases yet from the sale, but are contemplating, I’d love to know what you end up getting.  Also, like with any friends, if you have a question on a piece, a colour or whatever, send me a message on Instagram (I’m @lifewithaco)–always happy to help figure out what is best/what you should and shouldn’t buy.  Sometimes it’s just nice to get a second opinion (I know I need that when it comes to home decor, ha!).

A little note on these Frame jeans–I’m 5’11 so they are definitely a cropped style on me.  To be honest, I wish they were a smudge longer, but I loved the style and fit so much, I wanted to overlook it.

If you’re in the 5’3 – 5’9 height, I think these would be the perfect length–just above the ankle, which is such a flattering spot for pants to stop.

All that to say, don’t be discouraged if these run longer on you, I actually think that would look even better.  For sizing, they run true to size, so I went with my normal size 30.

O U T F I T  D E T A I L S  :  COAT WITH REMOAVABLE FAUX FUR (DESIGNER VERSION) |  GREY TEE  |  SUNGLASSES  |  BLACK STEP-HEM JEANS  |  BOOTIESOLD (SIMILAR, SIMILAR FLAT STYLE) | BAG (SIMILAR, BUDGET FRIENDLY)

I didn’t end up purchasing the designer version of this jacket (even though I really, really, really love it).  Every time I checked, my size was never in stock, but also, this Sam Edelman version is such a great piece, I truly love it.

The fur is removable, making it great for cool summer evenings now (throw it in the back of your car–would be so cute over a LBD or distressed denim shorts and a tee) and obviously killer when the fall hits for running errands on the weekends and adding a layer of warmth.  It runs on the big side, so I sized down one size, and while still a little oversized, it will be great to fit a sweater underneath when needed.

What are you up to this weekend?  It’s a long weekend for us in Canada and I’m excited to have a BBQ with friends and also visit some family too.  Hope you girls have a great weekend, I might be back with a post later this weekend, so check back if you’re interested.

Happy Friday!
