It feels like we’ve hit a snag in fall, and summer is back in full swing this week in Ottawa!  And I’m not mad!

I’ve had this Club Monaco sweatshirt since middle school and about five years ago, I chopped off the hem and sewed up the sleeves so they’d be a snug fit.  Every time I wear it, it feels like such a throwback, it truly is the oldest piece in my wardrobe.

I love love love the look of a sweatshirt pair with a mini skirt.  There is something so effortlessly cool-girl fun about the look, yet edgy.  I paired mine with my fave distressed denim skirt (there are so many options out there currently!) and the fur slides you’ve seen before.  Tryin’ to get my wears-worth while I still can.

Another option would be to grab a faux leather mini and pair it with a sweatshirt–either crew neck or hooded, anything oversized or slightly cropped usually looks best.  Sweatshirts are such a huge trend this season, it’s a great way to incorporate a little style and comfort into your wardrobe.
