The hat of the season, if you will, the baker boy hat is blowing up everywhere.  I grabbed mine here and it’s now on sale, which makes this trend super affordable to jump on, if you’re a hat kinda girl.

Today I’m styling this hat in a really edgy way, but it can totally worked dress down with a sweater and jeans.

I’m actually writing from the Newark airport today, I flew out of Tampa this morning and am en route home, with this one connection.  I wanted to hop on and quickly share this post since I missed yesterday.  I had a post planned but ended up going out late with Marco and his colleagues on Monday and wanted to spend yesterday, my last day, exploring the city a little, aka some shopping centres!

Since we don’t have Target in Canada anymore, I got my fix yesterday, as well as Nordstrom Rack and the smaller, Westshore Plaza in Tampa.  I was way more successful earlier in the week when I hit up the International Mall, and will share what I got in my recap post next week (working on editing all the photos!).  Sidenote: Nordstrom is having their huge fall sale.  I’ll do a round up of my faves before the week is over.

Back to the hat, I didn’t want to pack it in my luggage–which I managed to do just a carry-on, which is no easy feat for me–so I wore it during the trip down and currently.  Super easy with a tee and some sneaks, casual but comfortable at the same time.  For the actual sweater I’m wearing in the post, I wasn’t able to link it in the widget but you can find it here.
