AN EASY THANKSGIVING OUTFIT

Happy almost Thanksgiving!  Today’s outfit is all about easy style for this weekend, if you need to get a little dressed up for turkey day.  As I’m Canadian, we celebrate Thanksgiving in October (which you can see here & here) but this would still work for the weekend regardless.

I chose this roomy, olive green shift dress because it’s a knit fabric, so it’s cozy AF, you can pair a turtleneck or long sleeve crew neck tee underneath for added warmth, it’s roomy for turkey & all the fixin’s, plus it’s cute with OTK boots and makes it seem more dressed up than it is.  If it’s extra cold where you are–hello, aka where I live; we just got snow!–throw on a pair of leggings underneath and a cozy scarf on top and you’re ready to feast!

Have you done any pre-Black Friday shopping yet?!  Ah!  The sales are starting to pop up, I shared a round up of the Shopbop sale yesterday, and I have plenty more coming for you in the next few days.  I’ll be sharing the best pre-Black Friday Sales, my wish list, key pieces for your wardrobe, great holiday dress buys + more!  I’m excited, and trying to figure out exactly where I want to spend my budget and on what.  I’m totally eyeing these amazing velvet skinnies + upon request, sent my Mom this awesome jewellery tray as an idea for Christmas #needorganization.

Speaking of Christmas, this time of year is the best for shopping for gifts, isn’t it!?  Everything is deeply discounted so you can check everyone off your x-mas list.  I already have a few ideas of what I want to get for Marco, and he’s a double whammy with his birthday and Christmas both in December, so now is definitely the time to shop.  I also love that so many Canadian retailers are now participating in Black Friday.  If you aren’t from here, you may not be aware, but Black Friday wasn’t really a thing here, up until a few years ago.  I recently saw one of our local malls is even doing extended hours this year–now that is big.  Woohoo!

Hope you girls are having a great day and see ya tomorrow for the Pre-Black Friday Sales round up!
