WEEKEND RECAP: IPHONE SNAPS

mackage kerry jacket, life with aco, winter blogger

Hi girls!  Sorry for the delay in getting the Weekend Recap up, I actually didn’t think I had taken many photos other than some food, but there are a few worth sharing and I know so many of you have told me you love these posts the most (thank you!!), so I didn’t want to miss it.

The weekend was wonderful, kicking it off with a Friday night dinner with good girl friends to celebrate one of my bestie’s birthdays.  We went to Giovanni’s for an amazing meal and cocktails, and had a great time.   More importantly, the birthday girl had a wonderful evening.

I wore my fave faux leather pants–the birthday girl wore the exact same ones #matchers–which are always great in a pinch, new boots (sidenote: feet were sweating in the restaurant, they are so warm) & this oversized cardigan.

JOE’S JEANS — OLD (SIMILAR)  |  PUMA SNEAKERS (ALSO IN WHITE)

On Saturday, we hit the gym & went out to breakfast.  Afterwards, headed out to do a little poking around some stores and came back with these adorable blush sneakers.  I love the ribbon laces but they also come with a thick, striped lace as well.

I’ve totally been slacking on the gym lately, but snagged this adorable cut-out top (also got it in black!) and a few other goodies, which I’m hoping will spark my motivation again.

And finally, we’ve been using a meal delivery service for the past week–one where they send all the fresh ingredients and you cook it–and loving it!   I am the worst when it comes to coming up with dinner ideas that will be healthy, nutritious and also man-friendly.  I try to plan but seriously struggle with new meals or even making a meal; it’s not that I can’t cook, I just tend to fall to my ol’ faithfuls like fajitas, chicken and salad or a Mexican turkey bowl.

All that to say, super excited to be trying meals I’ve never made before that are easy to follow, no thinking required to come up with what to make, and no stops at the store needed either!   Right now we are doing three meals a week and even Marco is on board!

Hope you girls had a great weekend, and I’ll be back tomorrow with a new outfit post. xo
