SPRING CASUAL & A KILLER CLEAVAGE BRA

Happy Sunday girls!  Spring has finally sprung around these parts and it feels aaaamazing.  I’m finally leaving the house in a light weight jacket and open toes!  Nothing better, especially after the longest winter ever here.

Today’s look is super easy, casual with a bit of edge that works perfect for weekend or an evening out for drinks.  We are seeing a lot of lighter to medium wash denim popping up everywhere too, which is a great way to lighten things up in your wardrobe for spring.

O U T F I T  D E T A I L S  :  LEATHER JACKET — OLD (SIMILAR)  |  T-SHIRT  |  BRA  |  SUNGLASSES  |  JOE’S JEANS (SIMILAR, SIMILAR, BUDGET FRIENDLY)  |  IRO HEELS — OLD (HERE, ALSO HERE, BUDGET FRIENDLY)  |  NECKLACE  |  BELT — VINTAGE (SIMILAR)  |  BAG (BUDGET FRIENDLY)

Belts are making a major comeback this year, and while I love jeans without a belt, I threw on this vintage one that belonged to my Dad in his twenties!!  If you’re not digging the trend, no problem, jeans still look cool without a belt and you won’t be off trend by any means.  If you’re into the lighter wash jeans and uncertain with what to pair them other than black and white, try a blush pink or navy blue which really compliment the shade.  Another fun way to inject some spring into your look is to tie a silk scarf on your handbag–experiment with colours, patterns or neutrals.  Anything goes.

Next, I have to talk about the bra I’m wearing because if you’re looking for something to give the girls a bit of a boost, look no further.  When Upbra reached out to collab, I was definitely intrigued and so they sent over two of their bras: the t-shirt bra and the strapless bra.  I ended up really loving the t-shirt bra because you can wear it as a normal bra, or you can adjust it to the amount of cleavage you want.  I’m fairly big on top, so creating cleavage isn’t necessarily a problem, but getting a bit of a lift is always nice if you’re heading out for date night or wearing something a little more low cut.  Essentially, there is a strap that runs under the cup that you can pull tighter and hook on a loop under the opposite cup–the tighter you pull, the more of a boost you get.  Surprisingly the bra is really comfortable, and in these photos I didn’t even pull the straps, I just kept them at their base state and it was flattering without being too much for everyday wear as well.

Hope you girls are having a great weekend & I’ll see you back here tomorrow for the weekend recap!
