When we were in Italy almost two years ago, girls everywhere were wearing wide leg cropped pants–also known as culottes.  So much so, that even Marco made a comment about everyone wearing them!

Fast forward and here we are in North America, finally catching up 😉

I have worn these culottes a couple ways–one as you see here, with a crop top that touches the high-waist and doesn’t seem cropped, and also with a slim fitting bodysuit with sleeves.  I can also see this looking pretty with a silk or chiffon cami or even a snug fitting band tee to make things a little edgier.  Since there is so much volume in these pants, it’s best to keep the top more streamlined and fitted.  These pants also look super cute with flat slides, but of course are a great office environment alternative to a skinny trouser when paired with heels.  When we were in Italy, all the girls were wearing them with sneakers, so there’s that!
