Good morning! How was your weekend? We had a busy and spent the weekend babysitting our nephews! It was the first time we’ve done a sleepover and it was so fun (and also totally tiring! haha). Let’s jump in…
I hit up the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale last week (see my full try on here) and scooped up this amazing lace up cami and will have a full outfit post coming with it. It’s so stunning in person and fits tts. My sunglasses are older and available here.

We took the boys to McDonalds for lunch, then this amazing park here in Ottawa and toured around the beach. We grabbed slushies afterwards and made our way home.
We set up a little make-shift bed out of blankets on the floor of the living room and watched a movie together, it was really cute–with lots of running around in between. Their energy is endless!
The next morning we were up with the birds at 6am ;), had breakfast and hung out in the fort Uncle Marco built them till their parents arrived. My sister told me that when they went to bed last night they had fun with us and want to come back. Success! Haha!

I have a bunch of new outfit posts coming this week, which I’m so excited to share. Sorry for the delay, it’s been a little hectic around these parts starting my new job, trying to shoot outfits, getting ready for the Nordstrom Sale (I know that sounds funny, but it is part of what’s been taking my time–planning, spending hours putting the posts together, I spent almost three hours in the fitting room and then editing all the photos, linking things, etc.), and then the general everyday life stuff of cooking, cleaning, seeing friends & of course getting some time in with Marco.
I also wanted to note that I edited these photos a little differently than I’ve been editing lately. What do you think? I’m going to take a poll on Instastories today and share the two version of the photo above so you can see what I would normally do and this. Let me know what you think.
And lastly, on Sunday evening, we went out for impromptu fajitas and then spent the evening just relaxing, which was awesome after a busy couple days. Hope you girls had a great weekend yourselves, and see you back here tomorrow for a new outfit!
