Alright ladies, this is definitely one of my favourite purchases from the NSALE and I’m so so so excited to share it in an official outfit post today. This jacket is stunning.
I actually hadn’t seen this jacket on the site when the sale opened but when I went to the store to do my try on, I grabbed it immediately to take in. To be honest, I was kind of hoping I wouldn’t like it, or it wouldn’t fit, just to save myself the decision of to-purchase or not-to-purchase, lol, but it ended up being perfect.

This jacket is essentially a three-in-one; there is a faux fur vest inside, which can be detached and worn on it’s own, or you can wear the shell on it’s own, or pair the two together for a warmer piece when the temperatures really drop. Perfect for the entire fall season and early winter, if you have milder temps. Additionally, the fur on the collar is removable which I love because as much as it’s my favourite part of the jacket, if you take it off, it really makes it spring appropriate as well.
I would say the jacket runs true to size (tts) and I went with a medium. There is definitely plenty of room underneath for a chunky knit sweater or a few layers, which I can appreciate. I also think I potentially could have sized down, but then would run the risk of the sleeves being too short and the shoulders a snugger fit.
Also wanted to quickly touch on the pants. I was really excited to see these as part of the sale and love that they fit just like my favourite pair of dark denim (also on sale) I have been wearing for two+ years (as seen here, here & here). I wore them before I washed them, and have worn them after I washed them and have to say they fit even better after the first wash. They feel like they just fit my body better, they are really flattering on the legs (especially the inner thigh) and I personally love the mid-high rise on them because (1) it’s more comfortable , and (2) keeps everything in place 😉
