Gooooood morning! So not feeling ready for the weekend to end, it was a really good one and busy but with time to relax and be lazy too. Let’s jump into the snaps…
On Friday night, my bestie and I went out to dinner to celebrate her birthday at Mati. We had a great time, good food, drinks and conversation.
Would highly recommend this spot, the décor is stunning, food is amazing and service is fantastic. It was my second time there and next time I’m bringing Marco because I know he’ll love it.

On Saturday morning we had an appointment with our Jeweller to talk wedding bands. Marco knows exactly what he wants so that was quick and our Jeweller loved his idea. Mine was a little more complicated, as I mentioned, I was toying between a few ideas but once I talked to him at our appointment, we came up with a great concept and he’s going to build a couple different designs graphically and then we can go from there. I left feeling so much better about the whole process and excited.
Afterwards, we grabbed some breakfast and then poked around our favourite furniture store, Mobilia.

Later that afternoon, I had my first fitting for my wedding dress—ie. the alterations. I put the dress on for the first time since finding it, and the Tailor and I chatted alterations and what we needed to do + what I wanted to do. I go back in two weeks for a second fitting. Exciting!
That night, we met up with my family to celebrate my sister’s birthday. We usually do family birthdays at home but switched it up this year and went out to eat, which was great.
Sunday breakfast: GG crackers with a fried egg & some cottage cheese.

On Sunday, we did a bunch of stuff around the house and later that afternoon I headed to a friend’s place for a swim. It was hot and sunny (between clouds) and we sat and chatted.
Afterwards we grabbed some Chinese for dinner and the guys joined us for a little impromptu Sunday night dinner.
