Hoping on today for a super quick post to share this new parka I recently scored–errmagerrrrrd, you’re not going to believe where this is from…

So I’ve been eyeing this camo parka (swoon!) but really not sure I want to fork out that much for a winter jacket, when truly I would likely wear a solid print more. So the other night, I was getting some groceries at Walmart, and took a little cruise around the clothing section & found this parka in the boys department! Tried it on immediately, and sold. It was $39 doll-hairs, you guys! I’m wearing at XL (keep in mind I’m 5’11, so sleeve length is always a thing for me) and it’s just slightly roomy in the body, which means come winter, I’ll be able to fit a sweater underneath no problem. So excited about this find and love the pop of orange on the inside. I might even sew a little faux sure onto the hood to make it more lux looking.
What are your plans for the weekend? Tonight I have part two of my bachelorette–dinner with the girls who couldn’t make it to Montreal last weekend–and I’m so excited! I’ll be sure to share some snaps on IG Stories. The rest of the weekend will be pretty low key at this point, but I do have a ton of wedding related tasks I really need to get on–seating chart, menu, our electronic planner for the venue, and so much more. Just the little tasks that pile up and you can’t really do until this time. Speaking of, we are one month away!!! I can’t believe Monday is October. I’m having tons of anxiety over the wedding and the stress is real you guys–just all the things I need to get done before then, it’s normal, but it still feels like a lot. It will be good to go out tonight and just take my mind off of it again for a few hours–breaks (and wine) are always a good thing 😉
