WEEKEND RECAP: IPHONE SNAPS

1 person, girl wearing lace dress bachelorette

This weekend was one for the wedding books!  My best friend/bridesmaid threw me a second bachelorette dinner, in town,  for the girls that couldn’t make it to Montreal last weekend.

I’d love to share a bunch of photos + a few more from the weekend if you’d like to see…

DRESSNOW ON SALE! |  ZARA SHOES — OLD (SIMILAR)  |  CAGE BAG (SIMILAR)

The girls took me to Joey Lansdowne (love that spot!) for dinner and plenty of drinks.  We had an awesome table and our servers were so good to us, even bringing us bellinis on the house to celebrate!  We ate, drank, chatted, took photos (hello fun props one of the girls brought!) and laughed till almost closing.  Even met a few people around us who were so excited to celebrate too—which made me realize, even more so, that perfect strangers get excited when they find out you’re getting married!  It’s really special and kind.

I wore this gorgeous dress, which a girlfriend lent to me (search “nawale” on the site if the direct link isn’t working for you).  I’d seen it on her for a wedding she went to back in the summer and asked her for the details, but she did me one better and offered it to me for the occasion!  It fit like a glove and it felt so good and special to have a second bachelorette party dress.

SURPLICE TOP — OLD (SIMILAR)  |  NECKLACE  |  H&M JEANS (ALMOST IDENTICAL)  |  FLATS (SIMILAR)

On Saturday, I headed down to my PO box in the US to pick up some items for the wedding, the house and myself.  Got back in the early afternoon and did some cleaning of the house, laundry, etc.

That evening, I went took a little break from cleaning and went and poked around the stores.  I’m on the hunt for a teddy coat, and the one I’m wearing is at Winners on Merivale, but I’m not a fan of the dark cognac on myself.  I’ve had this black one in my cart for over a week now,  but my gf is potentially convincing me I should get a beige one instead 😛

I also snagged this amazing olive shearling jacket, which I’ll be sharing in an outfit post V soon!  Love love love.

On Sunday, I had a quick shoot with Lisa at Hog’s Back, which is a gorgeous area in Ottawa where there are these huge falls.  Then hung out with Marco and his friend at our place, finished up the laundry and relaxed for a  bit.

Hope you girls had a great weekend!
