Oh hi there!  Crawling out from beneath the mammoth of craziness that has been the last three weeks of wedding planning with a new outfit post!  Hurrah!

Midi length skirts and dresses are everywhere and my favourite way to wear and pair is with either tall boots that slide underneath, or sneakers–I will share a different way to wear this look in the coming weeks.  I love the way a tall, even slouchy boot looks tucked up under the hemline of a skirt, it’s so streamlined and chic, office appropriate and fashion forward.  Throw on a long necklace & done.  Alternatively, throw a chunky knit sweater overtop (I like the same colour, personally) and you’ve got a midi skirt & top look.

We are down to the final days before the wedding!  Three days to go and I feel like I finally have a handle on the rest of my to-do list.  Everything is falling into place after months and months of hard work and stress, and I feel the heaviness of it all lifting seeing the light–which is the big party and celebration we are about to throw with 100 of our closest friends and family.  The few things that I have left to do are to pick up the printed menus, clean the house, pack my overnight bag, steam my dress, prepare my vows and finalize our speech together.  We dropped off all our decor at the venue last night and did a final walk through.  We have been paying all the vendors this week and I finalized the itinerary and sent it to everyone and their mother to keep everyone in the loop!  Ack.  I hope I have everything covered.
