Hello hello! Back into the normal routine today and wanted to share some photos of what went down on the weekend, if you’d like to see.
Friday night was super low key, I hit the gym and we vegged for the evening. However, we did go get our marriage license on Friday, so we are officially, paper ready to be married! V exciting.

This jacket is so warm, you guys! I wore it out shopping to an outdoor mall on Saturday and then again to go out later that night (above). I love that it’s a slightly longer length so its warmer than my usual leather or suede type jackets, plus it has a huge collar that stands upright for added warmth. Mine is the olive green colour, though it’s reading a little brown in the photos above, but I promise it’s very olive. Goodness all around! I went with a size medium.
On Saturday night we went out to celebrate our friend’s birthday–a big party at a friend’s place, lots of people, great time.
On Sunday I spent a good chunk of the day prepping for that evening; Thanksgiving!
We had my parents over for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, turkey, stuffing, all the fixings–so good. My favourite meal, and plenty of leftovers to send my parents home with and still get to enjoy ourselves in days to come. Yassss.

And finally, Monday was a holiday here so I did some work for an upcoming post, did a few things around the house, put together yesterday’s Weekend Shopping Deals post and relaxed. It was kind of a lazy day, but also sometimes that is just needed 😉
