Hey girl hey, how’s your day?! Happy Tuesday! We are in for another try-on session and I’ve got some spring goodies + a major sale that’s happening to share.
As always, I’m linking everything below each photo, plus in the widget at the bottom of the post, on my LiketoKnow.it profile, on my SHOP (INSTAGRAM) tab at the top here, and I’m sharing everything in video today on Instastories.
Let’s jump in!
Are you girls loving the neon trend? I am here for it!
I’ve always been a fan of neon but it hasn’t really been on the scene for several years now. It’s back and I can’t get enough. When I saw this skirt I gasped and grabbed it immediately–sounds dramatic! But truly was just excited.
I love neon colours paired with medium wash denim, white, and nude–so chic. I was eyeing this top the other day, it’s so good (and way more neon in person)! The style wouldn’t be super flattering on me, per say (I find ribbed items aren’t my best look), but I absolutely love the look of it!
I’m wearing the skirt in a size medium–am usually a large at Zara, but the large was pretty baggy (I think it’s supposed to have a bit of an oversized fit, but I prefer it more fitted).
The cropped denim jacket is a DIY. I’ve had it in my closet for years and always reach for a different white denim jacket. I was obsessing over this one, but instead I decided to cut mine, throw it in the wash and voila–$80 saved 😉
Hello grey hat! Super excited, and was a little apprehensive, about this purchase. I’ve actually been coveting this exact hat for over a year, and finally pulled the trigger! When we were in Whistler, I was so excited to see one of the stores in the village (The Beach) carried Lack of Color hats. One of the main reasons I hadn’t ordered one yet was because I never had the chance to try them. My style is called, ‘The Mack’ and is kind of hard to come by, but I did find them in stock here!
Once I tried it on, actually, even just feeling the hat in person totally sold me. The quality is amazing, the brim is super stiff and the fit is really nice. I’m wearing a size medium and when I measured my head, it was within a centimetre of the sizing online and inside the hat on the label.
You girls might remember this dress; I purchased it late last summer for my Montreal bachelorette party. I absolutely love this dress and it’s currently on sale! Also comes in black & I’m wearing a size large.
I wanted to showcase this hat with a couple other outfits in case the dress isn’t your style. I love a good flared jean and have for years, and when my girlfriend (who is a major hat person) and I were discussing what to wear with the hat, she suggested it, it just clicked for me. Would be so good with a suede jacket come fall, too.
Last outfit with the hat to give you another option of how I would wear it. This will be perfect for summertime, for a casual day exploring somewhere or heading out for a day date. Stylish but comfortable and some protection from the sun. I think I’m going to find many ways to wear this hat! 🙂
This is a classic look I’d wear to the gym and I wanted to touch on two things I’m wearing.
First, the leggings, which have been in my closet for a few years, were just restocked! I always get questions about these and am so glad to see they’ve brought them back. I always start wearing them again when the weather warms up and they are a good, comfortable pair that aren’t see-through. I wear a size 6 but these are a size 8.
Secondly, the tank is new and so similar to the Lululemon ones I love, but a fraction of the price. I am planning on wearing it mostly for working out but would be a great basic for your closet either way. If you’re looking for something of better quality, I’ve had this one in my closet for years and it’s amazing. It was a bit of an investment–which I delayed for a solid six months–but it’s currently 20% off (!!) and considering I wear it weekly in the summertime and underneath cardigans in the winter, I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth.
SHOP THE POST
Lastly, Shopbop just launched a huge sale–all key styles (which is pretty much everything you could want) are 20% off, unless you spend over $500, then everything is 25% off; use code EVENT19.
All Golden Goose sneakers are part of the sale, I’m totally lusting after this dress (so pretty with heels or over the knee boots come fall), want this bracelet, this bra is so killer, this is a great dress for summer date nights and love this band tee.
The sale is running now through Friday, sharing a few more faves in the widget below.
