Good morning & happy Monday! The sun is shining here and it truly feels like spring for the first time–finally!
We’ve had the longest winter of life–ahem, we got snow on our wedding day, which was October 28th and kind of abnormal–so to say this has put a little spring in my step, isn’t an understatement.
O U T F I T D E T A I L S : FREE PEOPLE JACKET —
OLD (SIMILAR, LOVE THIS CROPPED STYLE) | LONG SLEEVE TOP | CITIZENS OF HUMANITY JEANS — OLD (SIMILAR, NON-DISTRESSED) | SNEAKERS (BUDGET FRIENDLY) | CELINE BAG (BUDGET FRIENDLY) | SUNGLASSES
We took our nephews over the weekend for a sleepover, which kept us super busy! My sister prefers to keep them off social media (totally understandable) and since we just spent our time playing in the backyard and more, I thought I’d share an outfit today instead of a Weekend Recap.
We managed to scoot out for breakfast on Saturday morning, before our nephews arrived, and this is what I wore. We usually hit up breakfast after the gym and I’m in my workout clothes, but we skipped the gym in favour of a quick trip down to our US postal box in New York state instead. When we got back, we were starving and so off to breakfast we went.
I feel like I’ve worn some variation of this outfit for three years–which definitely speaks to investment basics. You girls know I live in these Free People long sleeve thermals (I have four colours), and Citizens are one of my fave brands of designer denim (my distressed style doesn’t seem to be available any longer, but they still have them in a non-distressed version), and I reach for this Free People camo jacket every spring to carry me through to fall (linking a super budget friendly option here). Throw in some sneakers (I love Golden Goose, but it doesn’t have to be these–Vans are super cool right now, these are similar and Converse are always in style) and call it a brunch outfit 😉
Hope you girls have a great day!
