The past two weeks have knocked me off my feet, since returning from vacation I’ve felt really tired and unmotivated, but today I’m feeling great and wanted to jump on that and share this post.
We took these photos when we were in Cancun, and I was so glad I brought this skirt with me. I styled it before in a more ‘winter’ way, but today’s look is all about those spring and summer vibes!

If you’re been online in the past three months, you know how trendy satin, midi skirts currently are—such a big style for spring/summer 2019, and they are actually so versatile and easy to wear (I first shared mine here, and was uncertain myself for a little bit, even). Pair with a tucked in blouse and heels for the office, a cute cropped sweater and booties, a rocker tee with sneakers or like today, tie a basic tee in a knot and some summer wedges.
Since we got a few snow flurries yesterday (omg, ridiculous), I haven’t had the chance to wear these shoes back home yet, so instead I’ve been swapping in my white booties until things warm up. Also wanted to touch on this week’s lack of posts—more than what I’ve mentioned above. I did talk about this on Stories a little a few days ago, but I haven’t done a ton of shopping since we got back from our vacation; hence the lack of Try-On Tuesday post this week. I know you love that weekly post, and I love it too so am thinking of ways I can still share when I haven’t bought anything new (perhaps styling a new piece from the previous week!).
