I’m not sure if it’s the warm weather we are finally getting or the fact that I’ve lost a bit more of the baby weight, but having some fresh new clothes for summer is on my mind!
I placed a few online orders and have had a few things work out (and a slew of things I’ve sent back–which I won’t be showing you because they were no bueno 😉 ). It’s nice to get out of leggings and put on ‘real clothes’, even just a couple times a week, to go for a car ride or enjoy a drink on the back deck.

I’m swooning over this new white tee, and it’s under $16! I just snagged it and it’s fully in stock so runnnnnn. It has such a unique cut to it and a boxy fit. I sized up to an XL for a roomier fit.
These shorts are something I purchased over three months ago when we were headed to Florida (pre-quarantine) and I had no summer clothes that fit postpartum. I went up two sizes which was perfect–but they are also very stretchy and comfortable. I love that the inseam is a little longer as it’s very flattering on the inner thigh. I’m wearing a size 13 (pre-pregnancy I would have been a 9, and now an 11 probably would have been fine).
These marble slides were just restocked and are on sale under $10! I love these and constantly throw them on to run out the door. They are really comfortable and look way more expensive than they actually are. Will be so cute pool-side as well.

These shorts are so good! I sized up two sizes from pre-pregnancy (like the blue denim and black pairs I already owned) but I could have just done one size. I had purchased the other two pairs three months ago when I was only two months postpartum. They are really stretchy, high waist and have a slightly longer inseam, which I love (so flattering!). I’m wearing a size 13 (pre-pregnancy I would have been a 9, and now an 11 probably would have been fine).
Looks like this tee has sold out–ugh! I’m so sorry. Linking up some similar styles that I like just as much, all under $10! I’m wearing an XL for an oversized fit.
Also want to note that Urban Planet has two options for shipping–regular and next day delivery, both at $5.99. When I placed my order, I chose next day delivery and it actually arrived the next day! With the delivery delays lately, I was shocked and so pleasantly surprised.

Swimsuit season! I definitely am not feeling swimsuit ready post baby but most of my swimsuits don’t really fit me right now so I ordered a few in larger sizes in case the opportunity arises this summer.
That said, this cover-up on the other hand–I’m definitely feeling ready to sport this! I paired it with the same high-waist white denim shorts as above for an alternate option to just over a swimsuit. I’m wearring a size small/medium and it’s super roomy.
This green suit is really pretty in person and fits true to size. I went with an 8 in the top and a 10 in the bottom (12 would have be better, TBH). There is removable padding in the top but not a ton of support.
Also, these sunglasses! I’m obsessed. These are a super budget friendly find that I ordered at the beginning of May–they took over a month to arrive, but it was worth the wait since they are under $20 and so chic. I feel like these are popping up on a ton of faces this year too (which I hadn’t seen when I ordered mine–clearly we were all waiting on shipping 😉 )–so very on trend.

I snagged this distressed denim jacket in Florida a few months ago after looking for one–this one is really similar though and a great price. I love the oversized fit & just snagged this mini version for Hendrix to wear this fall!

I love the look of anything cropped–and this sweatshirt is so cute (plus on sale!). I went with a medium which is a good fit, but do note that it’s on the shorter cropped side–so sizing up might yield slightly more length. It is a boxy fit, and fleece on the inside.
I just paired the sweatshirt with a stretchy skirt (which is actually maternity, but doesn’t have a panel or anything, it’s just got good stretch). This sweatshirt would also be so good with high-waist leggings or even over a bodycon dress (also love this one) to get the same effect.
