I’ve been trying to get this post up for what seems like forever–I try to share Hendrix’s outfits on IG (he has a whole highlight here), but I know that’s not always the easiest way to find exactly what he’s wearing or where it’s from. So today, I’m sharing some recent things I’ve purchased for autumn and winter, plus where you can snag them too!
As an aside, many of these items are unisex so whether you have a boy like me, or a girl, this post is for you. Let’s jump in…
This hat is exactly what I was hoping to find for winter, and while a splurge, it’s gorgeous! I purchased the bigger size (2 – 8 years), so he will be able to wear this for many years to come.
The sweatshirt and joggers were a gift from our friends before Hendrix arrived, and it’s been so cute now that he finally fits in it. Again, the quality is bar none and these make for a beautiful gift. He’s wearing size 6- 12 months and they are getting snug.
Sizing notes: Hendrix is currently 9 months, weighs 26 pounds & is 30 inches long.
These joggers are so cute & stylish, and come in a variety of different colours. We also have the mustard colour ones & I recently snagged another pair of the camel colour for when he’s bigger. He’s in the 9 – 12 month size.
The tee/bodysuits are my favourite and come in a multipack. They are sock and easy to get on, wash and dry really well, and feel great. He had a bunch of these in the 0 – 3 month when he was younger, and now these 12 month ones are the perfect fit for his long torso.
Sherpa coats on babies is just too cute! This teddy coat sold out, then they restocked it, but it seems to be gone again. I did find some cute options (linked above) and will let you know if I see them bring it back!
These are my favourite shoes that Hendrix currently has, they are so cute! Despite being printed, I view them as a neutral so they work with a ton of different outfits. I actually found these in the baby girl section, so don’t afraid to in the opposite gender’s section, there are truly some gems you could be missing out on.
Hendrix wears the 6 – 12 month size.
This romper is an investment, but it’s so gorgeous and soft (and a local, small business)! The fabric is amazing quality and you can tell it would be so comfortable to hang out in. One of my favourite features, is a handy ‘gitch zipper’ that goes from ankle to ankle, making diaper changes super easy. Hendrix is in size 6 – 12 months and it’s a great fit.
Also want to touch on the hat quickly, as at first I didn’t think I would spend $15 on such a simple beanie, but it’s truly become the hat he wears constantly when we are heading out. It’s not overly thick, but it’s warm and it’s perfect for this current in-between weather. It’s comfortable and stretchy, and he doesn’t tend to pull it off as fast as other hats 😉 I love it so much, I purchased a second one in a larger size so he’ll have it later–seriously worth it!
I just wanted to share this photo for the hat–this is something I found in the little boys section, yet it fits Hendrix at 9 months. It was really budget friendly and is thick and great for winter. All that to say, you don’t have to stay in your baby’s size range or spend a ton to be stylish. Again, this is a piece he will be able to wear for years to come, and would also work for yourself or Dad if needed 😉
A few other things I’ve purchased…
Just snagged him these two-piece pajamas.
Love these neutral and thick socks (perfect for winter warmth).
My fave shoes for him currently (easy to get on + they stay on)
Something about these stylish dinosaur pajamas (I sized up to a 2T and surprisingly isn’t too big right now, but definitely room to grow).
Hendrix lived in this bear suit for walks in the winter.
This two piece fleece set is so cute (I bought the one-piece version, but it doesn’t seem available anymore).
Cute cotton beanie for $6.
