TRY-ON TUESDAY

Hello hello! It’s Tuesday so we are doing another try on with a few things I picked up last week (see last week’s try on here). Per usual, you can find my measurements here, in case that’s helpful.

Everything I’m sharing in today’s post is also live on my Instagram Stories today, so if you haven’t seen the video clips, be sure to head over there once you’re done to see how things move and fit ‘in person’.

With that, let’s jump into the try on!

UNITED NATION CROP TEE (SIMILAR, SIMILAR) |LEGGINGS | SNEAKERS

I saw this top in store and snatched it up immediately (Winners in Barrhaven, for my local ladies). Unfortunately, the brand doesn’t sell online but I wanted to share because there are a bunch of almost identical tees online (linked above and below) that will give you the same look–and all at a budget friendly price.

This is something I would wear to the gym, but also think it’s a super cute look for running errands or hanging around the house. This tee would also be really cute with high waisted denim.

BLACK BODYSUIT (IDENTICAL, SIMILAR) | H&M JEANS — OLD (SIMILAR, SIMILAR) | MULES

Ermagerd this bodysuit! It was love at first sight when I saw this but when I put it on? Game changer!

This is actually such a flattering bodysuit and is double lined, bonus, it’s currently 70% off! If you’re in Ottawa, I grabbed this at the Ardene on Merivale–otherwise I’ve linked multiple options that are similar.

The shoes are new and I’m loving the clear strap/heel/detail trend we are seeing on everything from shoes to bags. These fit true to size and also come in black. Quite comfortable and I’m definitely throwing these in my suitcase for our upcoming vacation.

BLACK BODYSUIT (IDENTICAL, SIMILAR) | LEOPARD PANTS | AMAZING SIMILAR PUMPUNDER $40!

Same bodysuit as above & jumping in here quickly to tell you that these leopard pants are now on sale for $12.99! I bought mine back in December for full price and have worn them a ton. If you’re debating between leopard and snakeskin, either will be super on trend for this spring, but I find the leopard is a little more safe.

ONIA SWIM COVER UP (DIFFERENT PRINT, DIFFERENT PRINT) | PILYQ SANDALS (SIMILAR)

I found this cover up in store locally and it was a one off and absolutely love it! I’m wearing the large/XL only because that was the only option, but a small/med probably would have worked too.

I’m linking the same cover up in a different print above and below–it’s hard to come by, but would highly recommend if you can get your hands on one because it fits so pretty, very flattering, covers the bum and dips lower in the middle of the legs (conceals the inner thigh–I like that) and uber comfortable! Perfect for the beach!

ZARA BELT BAG (HERE IN BLACK, SIMILAR) | TOPUNDER $15! | H&M JEANS — OLD (SIMILAR, SIMILAR) | SNEAKERS

You call it a fanny pack, I call it a belt bag, but how you wear it is the new trend–across the chest (or on your back).

You either love or hate this trend, and I get it, but I love these, especially on men (as seen here)! I had originally purchased this for Marco, but the adjustable strap wasn’t long enough so I’m keeping it for myself. I think this looks so effortlessly cool and is the perfect bag to tote around when you want to be hands free and stylish.

Also, the sneakers are not on sale, but I’m linking them because I know I will get questions. These are also the sneakers I wore for our wedding reception 🙂

SNAKESKIN PANTS | TOPUNDER $15!  | WHITE ANKLE BOOTS — ON SALE! (LOVE THEM IN RED TOO)

White boots are everywhere and while not exactly ideal for snowy weather (um, hi, that’s me!), I’m still wearing them to the office and took them out to a house party back in December when I was told shoes were allowed.

If you have done any online shopping recently, you’ve likely seen a ton of white booties making the rounds. Pair them with everything from jeans to skirts to trousers–they are so much more versatile than you’d think! Bonus, mine are now on sale! They are super comfortable, fit true to size (I went with a 10), the heel isn’t too high (but it’s higher than a kitten heel) and they actually have great padding in them. If you’re foot is a litter wider (like me), these fit like a dream.

Lastly, real quick, the pants! These are now on sale for $12.99--whaaaaat?!–and stocked in all sizes. Hurry! I’m wearing a medium and they fit perfectly and I’ve worn them with a beige sweater, a black top & this white one.

BLACK ANKLE BOOTSNOW 70% OFF! SO COMF!

If you buy anything from this post, let it be these booties!

I originally scored mine on Boxing Day (the day after Christmas, in Canada) for 50% off and told you girls about it. So many of you purchased these and are loving them. Well, I checked yesterday and they just got marked down to 70% off! In all sizes!

I’m seriously considering ordering a second pair just in case these get ruined from the snow and salt this year. They are so comfortable, have a rubber bottom so they are sturdy in slippery conditions and run a teeny tiny bit on the small side (I went with the 41–which is the same size I wear at Zara).

BLACK HIGH-WAIST LEGGINGS — 70% OFF! (REGULAR PRICEWORTH IT!) | SNEAKERS | BLACK ANKLE BOOTSNOW 70% OFF! SO COMF!

Okay, and the last thing we are talking about are these uber popular, thick, leggings. I’ve seen a ton of girls wearing these and hyping them and I was not about that price tag… but… then I found mine on sale, tried them and it was a done deal.

The ones I’m wearing have a bit of a texture and sheen to them (see my Insta Stories today and you’ll see what I’m talking about; or highlights if you’re reading this later), which are the ones on sale. You can find the regular and the faux leather ones here, but they aren’t on sale. That said, I love them so much, I’d pay full price knowing how they fit now.

I sized down to a small (rare!) but they didn’t have a medium and the large was too big. They have a good amount of stretch and really suck you in, so the small didn’t seem to be an issue. Also, I wanted to show you how I pair them casually, on the left, and more dressed up on the right. They are quite versatile but I do find myself wearing them for more elevated looks like to work and nice events.

I hope you girls found this post helpful! Don’t forget to check out my IG Stories to see how everything fits/moves/close-ups as I have share additional details there.
