Good morning! How was your weekend?
It was the first weekend in a long time where we were home with no plans, which was totally refreshing and needed. I have some photos to share if you’d like to see…
On Friday night, we went to see the band we hired for our wedding, as they were playing at a local pub! It was so good to see them for the first time since, and brought back a lot of good memories. My best friend came and we danced the night away.
On Saturday, we took a trip down to our US postal box and picked up a few things–including some new boots I’ll be sharing in tomorrow’s Try-On Tuesday. It was sunny and mild, the snow is finally melting (sort of) and despite being super windy, I think spring is around the corner (please, please, please let it be around the corner lol).
We spent the rest of the day vegging which was so needed and watched the movie, The Dirt, about Motley Crue–it didn’t get the best reviews, but we really liked it (but then again, was never a Motley Crue fan nor knew much about them).
I haven’t worn this coat in forever! I tore a hole in one of the seams last fall and naturally left it, in true procrastination form!
It wasn’t until the night before I was leaving for Whistler that I decided to finally sew it up but when push came to shove, I didn’t have enough room in my suitcase for two jackets and brought this one instead.
Stuffed bell peppers (from Costco–let’s be real;) ) and a salad for Sunday night dinner.
Sunday was low key, a workout, late brunch and lots of laundry. Not a ton to report home about, but a productive day at least. I convinced Marco to hang multiple pieces of art that have been leaning up against our walls for months 😉 so that was really nice to check off the to-do list.
Hope you girls had a good one!
