Good morning! This weekend was such a good one–socially, home, and food, so let’s jump in.
On Friday night, after over a month of planning, some girlfriends and I got together for dinner and drinks at one of our fave spots, Joey (also where we had my Ottawa bachelorette party last year; same girls!).
On Saturday, after a quick clean of the house and some lunch, we hit the road to head up to Mont. Tremblant, which is a ski spot about two hours-ish from Ottawa. We were hoping to get one last ski day in before spring 😉
It was snowing all morning but that quickly turned to freezing rain, so when we got there, the village was super wet. We grabbed a late lunch and settled into our hotel room with plans to ski the following day.

That night we went to one of our favourite places in Tremblant–La Pizzateria. They have amazing home-style pastas and wood oven pizzas. The spaghetti is so good so we shared it–totally the kind of meal that warms you from the inside out! Perfect for a damp, rainy night.
As it turned out, the weather totally sucked and even the next morning, despite getting a bit of snow, the hills were super icy. We decided to forgo skiing and just slowly get ready for the day and make our way home. Was nice to come home to a clean house and we stopped at our fave Vietnamese spot we used to always go to before we moved.
