Happy Sunday ladies!! It’s been a while since I’ve done my monthly favourites, I missed last month, but also felt like I wasn’t favouring anything out of the norm or new.
This series is meant to help, inspire and genuinely share pieces I’m truly loving and using, so I’m not going to fake that. Additionally, I usually share four items, but this time it’s just three, but again they are pieces I’m truly loving.
So with that, I have something from the travel, beauty and fashion categories, so let’s jump in!
You’ve probably seen this suitcase on Insta, it’s become pretty popular especially in white. I have been on the hunt for a carry-on or large weekend duffle for over a year, and after leaving my Mat & Nat bag in Italy after some beauty products exploded in it, back in October. I would often use Marco’s large duffle if he wasn’t, his carry-on suitcase, or be carrying three random, smaller bags–because even if it’s just a weekend away, I tend to overpack a little 😉
I knew this was the perfect fit when I saw it–I could justify the price knowing I would use it a ton for ski weekends, quick weekend trips away and regular travel through the airport. Bonus points, it’s so pretty!
I got to use it for the first time when I went to Toronto a few weeks back for four days, and it was great. The handle has two extensions, so works on tall or petite girls. The space inside is great, and as you can tell from the first pic there is one open side and one zippered closed side, but there are multiple smaller pockets with zippers, mesh and ruched pouches. Additionally, it comes with a stationary lock, an expander zipper and the four wheels are fully rotational.
I’m a sucker for nail polish and try to stay away, but always get suckered into checking out what new colours are out every time I’m at the store.
Essie is my favourite brand, and I usually go for dark, moody colours (case in point) or nude shades.
When I saw this pretty peachy-nude before our trip to Mexico (I’m wearing it on my fingers in every photo), I knew it was perfect for the beach and for the week. I’ve been using it multiple times since then, and just painted my nails today with it again.
Ah! I have touched on these sneakers a couple times already (I have another fitness-style outfit post coming with them), and I’m loving them. I wore them on the plane for our last trip, used them in the gym almost daily while there, and have been bringing them with me to the gym almost as much as my high-tops. The knit fabric makes them uber comfortable, and the soles are cushy.
These shoes do run very big, so I sized down a full size (9) and they fit perfect. I love the olive green, it was what made me pull the trigger #rare, which are becoming harder and harder to find. That said, these light grey babies are on my wish list next–so pretty!
