Our first weekend home as a married couple! I’m not going to lie, getting back into the routine of real life has been kind of sad, but at the same time, it’s definitely be helpful to my post-wedding blues. We had a pretty laid back weekend, so let’s jump into the snaps!
On Friday night, I hit up Winners and just took my time. I was actually looking for one of my favourite night creams (as seen in this skincare post) that I ran out of like two weeks before the wedding–ugh, timing! I looked everywhere and couldn’t find it. Well, lo and behold I finally found it and scooped up three containers!
I also tried on this BCBG teddy coat (can’t find it anywhere online–sorry), but it was an XL so too roomy. I’m eyeing this one–I was hoping for something a little more budget friendly, so haven’t pulled the trigger yet but really love the look of it. I rounded up five budget friendly teddy coats I’m loving in this post yesterday, in case you missed it.

I missed these pancakes so much while we were on our honeymoon!
Don’t get me wrong, the food was amazing, I wouldn’t trade it, but was so good to make these again this weekend #nom.
CAMO PARKA | LONG SLEEVE TEE | ZARA JEANS (SIMILAR) | SNEAKERS | CLUB MONACO SCARF — OLD (SIMILAR, BUDGET FRIENDLY)
On Saturday, I picked Marco up from the airport! We actually had to take separate flights home from our honeymoon as he was headed on a work trip so it was aaaaaaamazing to be reunited again.
Sidenote: real life situation in the background 😛 I stripped the guest beds and washed the sheets before our honeymoon but didn’t get a chance to remake them. Still haven’t. Whatever.
We grabbed some ramen (was so hungry didn’t even snap a pic) and just relaxed the rest of the night.
I wanted to mention that on the flight home from our honeymoon, I watched the movie, I, Tanya about the figure skater, Tanya Harding. OMG. It was so good! I was never super invested in that story when it happened, but the again I was just a kid at the time, but of course remember hearing about it. The story really sheds light on her life growing up and what happened. It was super interesting.

The next day I finally, after a month away from the gym–I got that workout in. It was a mild struggle to get there, not going to lie, but happy I did. I had planned to amp up my workouts in the last three weeks before the wedding, but ended up getting terribly sick and the last thing I do when I get sick is exert myself even further–I know my body and it needs to be still.
All that to say, got the workout in and spent the rest of the afternoon just doing some stuff around the house, relaxing and hanging out. Marco made a killer Mexican breakfast bowl when we got home (below) which I loooove–so tasty!
HALSTON SWEATER DRESS (SIMILAR, BUDGET FRIENDLY) | NECKLACE | ALDO BOOTS — OLD (SIMILAR) | NYLONS
On Sunday night, I went out to dinner with Lisa–my Photographer (blog & wedding)! Well, friend first 😉 but just to make the reference since I know you probably see her name around these parts. We went to Joey which was amazing, and had drinks and dinner. We hadn’t seen each other since the wedding and it was so great to chat about the day and see it from her eyes and more.
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
